| As participants in the travel industry and in carrying out our work as Tour Operators we have a responsibility to respect the island of Mallorca, its local people and their way of life. We acknowledge that when Mallorca Farmhouses sends clients on holiday the potential to have a negative impact on the island is prevalent. All tourism potentially has an Environmental, Social and Economic impact on the destination involved. We accept therefore that we as Tour Operators should aim to be responsible in all our activities on each of these three levels. |

| By definition, Mallorca Farmhouses specializes in traditional, old farmhouses, some over 400 years old, in the unspoilt countryside, with most villas and farmhouses owned by Mallorquines, often passed down through families over the generations. The utmost care and attention is paid by both the owners and Mallorca Farmhouses to ensure authenticity is retained wherever possible on all properties and we work closely with our local representatives and the Ministry of Tourism to ensure we are kept up to date of any significant changes in the surrounding areas. Our car hire partner, Roig, is a very well established, independent family company, owned and run by locals. Most of our representatives are also natives of the island of Mallorca and, where possible, produce for the hampers is sourced from local suppliers and producers. |
