Fiestas
The Spanish are addicted to fiestas and Mallorca is no exception. Most have a religious basis, but rural traditions and historic events also feature high on the list. One of the most popular events is the Moors and Christians celebrations. As with mainland Spain, the island celebrates the victory of the Christians over the Moors.
Golf
Mallorca is extremely well placed for the experienced, as well as the beginner golfing enthusiast. There are over fifteen, 18 hole golf courses located around the island and a number of tournaments played over the summer months including Rolex Femenino y Masculino, Trofeo Lions, and the Benefic Fundacio Reial Mallorca.

Weather In Mallorca
Summer is the peak time to visit with sunshine-soaked day after sunshine-soaked day awaiting. You can relax in the warm Mediterranean sun, cooled by the breeze from the coast (or the air conditioning and fans in your property). The Serra de Tramuntana mountain range in the north protect the rest of the island from the northerly winds often afflicting Menorca, although the winter months do see occasional rain.
